Lamakū is the University of Hawaiʻi’s Learning Management System (LMS), powered by Brightspace by D2L. The word lamakū means “torch” and symbolizes education and enlightenment (lamakū o ka naʻauao). As part of UH’s commitment to modern, secure, and student-centered learning, Lamakū supports a connected and innovative learning experience for the UH community.
