Kuʻi Imu


Join us to help prepare the imu and surrounding māla area.


Work will involve outdoor labor in sun. Bring a water flasks, hat, sunscreen, and wear clothes that can get dirty.


Tasks will include: splitting wood, digging the imu, setting pōhaku (rocks), and harvesting ʻuala (sweet potato) and kalo (taro).

Together we will share and learn about NIU and you will be able to KĀLAI your very own aloha-ʻāina-super-sustainably-awesome ʻAPU [shell cup].

There is still life in that old t-shirt! You see a t-shirt; I see a bag! In this workshop you will learn how to re-engineer that old t-shirt into a functional bag.

Seedlings Pick-Up

First Come, First Served


Plants will be given out on a first come, first served basis until they are all given away.


Stop by to get a free seedling to take home for your garden or lanai or windowsill. There will be a variety of plants (herbs, food plants, native plants) to choose from and you will receive information on how to care for the plant.
