Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) Enclosure

An Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) is able to obtain small scale atomic level microscopic imaging. For measurements to be accurate, external environmental conditions such as vibrations, acoustics and airflow must be reduced. This summer, an enclosure for the AFM to prevent these disturbances was to be designed and manufactured for the Energy Transport and Conversion Laboratory.
