Within the State of Hawaiʻi, 90% of our beef is shipped in from the U.S. or other countries, this hurts our economy by depending on this imported beef. This project focuses on studying the management of forage quality and cattle average daily gain within the year 2016 - 2017. Our main purpose for this project is to find the best strategies to better manage the pastureland and resources in the state of Hawaiʻi in order to benefit our local community and the future of our beef industry.
