This summer, the PEEC II program partnered with the Hoʻomānalowai STEM Student & Teacher Preparation program to provide four, 10-week programs from June 8th to August 14th, 2020. Faculty and researchers from the College of Engineering, the College of Natural Sciences, the College of Tropical Agriculture & Human Resources, and the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology engaged 24 pre-college and continuing college students in faculty-driven STEM research projects.
Students conducted research in the fields of engineering (aerospace, computational, electrical, mechanical), information & computer sciences, animal science, botany, and marine biology.
