Joining a Lab

Now that it is your junior year, if you are not already part of a lab, you should be starting to look around and think of a few options about whose lab you would like to join. Check out our research page and follow the link to a detailed guide of the different research areas of each faculty in the chemistry department. Before the end of the year, you should contact a faculty researcher to make sure they have an available spot open for you in their lab where you can conduct your senior thesis. Many students use junior year and the summer after junior year to get a head start on their senior thesis.
