Interested in learning more about the chemistry courses you will be taking your first year? You have come to the right place! During your first year you will be taking an introductory chemistry course in both the fall and spring. Chemistry Student Group Guide
"The purpose of this Student Guide is to provide tips, resources, and advice from upperclassmen who have taken introductory chemistry to underclassmen. We aim to lessen the stress of navigating intro chem culture/classes/labs and making chem opportunities more accessible to students wanting to explore becoming a TA, getting to research, etc.. Becoming involved in the chemistry department shouldn’t be a hard or mysterious process!"

Don't worry, you are not alone! Chemistry is hard and we are here to help make it easy for you. If you see a certain lab group that you want to join, reach out and ask if you could join. Some spots fill up quickly, so the earlier you reach out the better!
