• Using my micro-bit, my computer, a Microsoft MakeCode, and my I-pad, I created a beating heart, dice, and a love meter.

• During this process, I learned how to code, and use different codes. this could help me later if I need to use a coding software in careers and specific jobs. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because they use others' work to inspire their original work and use digital tools to present their ideas.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was making my love meter, because sometimes the words wouldn't show up. I was able to do it by resetting the micro-bit and downloading the code again. 

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the ideas I did. I would change them because a lot of them I forgot to do because I kept getting distracted and not on task. I would also make my ideas more unique, because I didn't really do my own project, mostly the videos that were on the site.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in software engineering because they code things and build software applications like computer games and network control systems.
