micro bits

Using the micro bit, I created my micro bit to say Vicky and after it shows my name I shake it and it will show a heart. I also created the game of rock paper scissors because I thought that making rock paper scissors on the micro bit would be fun and a good learning experience. During this process, I learned more coding skills on making my micro bit do what I coded it to do, I find it very cool that you can make rock paper scissors on the micro bits. This learning was important because it could help you in future jobs.

The standards that my project ties to being an Empowered learner. I chose Empowered learner because while doing this project I set personal learning goals for my self. A challenge that I over came on this project was coding my micro bit to play the game rock paper scissors and downloading my code onto my micro bit . I was able to do it by watching a tutorial on how to code your micro bit to play rock paper scissors. I overcame the challenge of how to download the code onto my micro bit by asking a friend that knew how to do it.

If I was given a chance to do the project again, I would change my second part to something more simple. The reason that I would change this is because it took way to long to code the rock paper scissors. I would change it by doing something like say a word and then a blinking heart because this would be a lot easier and less time consuming. This project connects to careers in coding or engineering. This is important because we always need these positions.
