Using bloxes , I created a game that me and my partner designed using the bloxes board. We chose this design because it reminded us of other games we have played before. We decided to add a lot of coins because and monsters so then it would be hard to get the coins because i like challenging games.
During this process, I learned how to use the bloxes. I learned how to do this by my partners help and watching videos. I also learned how to use the bloxes app by following instructions on box and looking up how to do so.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I had to set personal learning goals to design my game. I also had to agree how to make the game and how we were going to design the game.
A challenge I overcame on this project was how to make the game an agreeing with my partner what to design. I was able to do it by comparing what me and my partner wanted and making it into one. I also overcame what all the blocks meant by looking on the box.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how i used my time. The reason why I would change it is because this project was late and i didn't use my time wisely. I would also do this because it interferes with my grade by it being late.
This project connect to careers in game making. In this career you could use coding and games likes bloxes. This project also connects to careers in coding.
