The progress of my project:
Day 1: I created my subpage and answered the things I needed to answer. I also got familiar with Makey Makey again.
Day 2: Not much progress made today.
Day 3: I experiment more with Makey Makey to see how it works.
Day 4: No progress made.
Day 5: Busy moving furniture, so no progress was made.
Day 6: I add some pictures on to my site and edit part of my video.
Day 7: I insert the video on to my site.

Using Makey Makey, I created a way to play Super Mario Bros with playdoh because I thought it would be fun to experiment with Makey Makey.
During this process, I learned Makey Makey can be kind of difficult to figure out and use if you are not very experienced with it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I designed a controller to use to control Mario.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to properly use Makey Makey. I was able to do it by looking up how to use it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I chose to use Makey Makey. The reason why I would change it is because playing Mario with Makey Makey seems to be used a lot by other people and isn't very original.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in building controllers.
