Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself
What materials will you need for your project?
I will need a drone and an iPad
What is your plan to create in this project?
An obstacle course for my drone to go through
What unique qualities will your project have?
There will be different elevations, so my drone will have to go up and down.
The progress of my project:
Day 1: I got the drone out and connected it to the iPad. I then flied it around a bit to test it, and ended up accidently breaking it.
Day 2: I make an obstacle course and take pictures of it to put on my website. Did not get to film my drone going through it today.
Day 3: I set up the obstacle course again and get my drone ready. Unfortunately, did not get to filming again today. Had to put the drone away.
Day 4: I set up the obstacle course again and get my drone ready. I then film my drone going through the course, and end up finishing.
Day 5: Did not get much progress done today except for editing my video in iMovie.
Day 6: I insert my edited video and then insert and answer my planning questions. I then finish everything and publish my site.

Video through the perspective of my drone
Using drones, I created an obstacle course because I thought it would be fun and challenging.
During this process, I learned that drones are hard to control in tight spaces.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I learned how to fly a Tello drone better, and learned that the drone can record videos through the camera.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting through the course. I was able to do it by constantly practicing going through it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the course. The reason why I would change it is because it felt pretty short.
