Using Legos, I created a Lego stop-motion film because I wanted a way to show how recycling is important. It was called recycling pirates that went and picked up trash in the ocean. Another important healthy life choice was to be kind to others which was hidden in the film.
During this process, I learned how to make a stop-motion film. I also learned how to use Legos in a stop-motion. I learned how to use auto-capture future in the app too.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to Digital Citizen. It ties to that because there is no copyright in my project/video/daily log pictures.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the stop motion video. I was able to do it by messing around tell it worked. Another challenge I overcame was not getting hands in pictures I did it by taking my time.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the topic. The reason why I would change it is because there is a better topic that I could get more pictures than what is in the film. For example a funny clip about global warming and why it's important.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. It's Digital Multimedia cause it has a bunch of different forms of media audio and pictures for example.
My project connects to careers in stop motion. It is connected to stop motion because I took pictures of the scenes. The pay is around 120k per year for taking the pictures.

Once upon a time, a very poor pirate was trying to get home. Then all of a sudden he noticed a piece of trash thought it looked cool and picked it up. A little while later he noticed another piece and about a BILLION more pieces around it. The next day he went out into the ocean with a giant net and scooped up all the trash. When he got back home he built a jet engine out of the trash to pick up more trash. After he arrived home after a two-month journey, he built a machine that could change unwanted trash into something useful and sold it to people. Also he made millions of dollars just for recycling. In conclusion, this is why you should recycle your trash and not litter.
