Using cardboard, I created a cardboard candy vending machine because I wanted a way to dispense candy in a fun way.
During this process, I learned how to work with limited supplies such as cardboard ducktape hot glue and some others.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I made a list of idea and plans for my project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was how to dispense candy. I was able to do it by taking it step by step and following blue prints we made.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the push system. The reason why I would change it is because it can be hard to get it to work.

My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Industrial designers because you create digital images then make a porotype. I say this because we made plans and the build a porotype for what we wanted to make.
