Reflection
Using a iPad, computer, and a lot of different robots. I created a party bomb, dash throwing a tier , I robot writing a 3 letter word, and mini sphere doing shapes, and also a ray a sunshine because the first 4 were a singed to us and then we decided to do and extra credit which was both me and my partner something that we liked a lot or one of our favorite things. We did it to because yellow was me and my partners favorite color so that also why we did it.
During this process, I learned how to code a robot, and make it move like controlling it. Another thing I learned during this process was how to make them light up and talk. I thought this was a very cool learning experience because robots were always something that I wanted to learn more about.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen because nothing on my project is copy righted and nothing on my project is offensive to others on the internet. My project also ties to global collaborator because everything on my project is being posted all over the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was what websites to use for the different robots. I was able to do it by asking my classmates for help and looking up tutorial videos on things on how to code some of them. Another thing i oversomne was on how to make the countdown fro the party bomb. I overcame this by asking class mates again. Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many projects we did cause i was planning on doing more to expreiment with them more. The reason why I would change it is because it would give my website more detail and more cool things to look at. I would also change our last project to make it more difficult or more complex. I would do this because it would make me look more professional and my website.
