It will have plastic windows with opening doors, and its going to have a sunroof.
Daily Log
Day 1: We gathered materials and decide what we were gonna need.
Day 2: We started to cut the cardboard and made the structure.
Day 3: We added the windows and started and made the sun roof.
Day 4: We started making the doors and trim for the barn.
Day 5: we put on the doors and added duck tape to the roof.
Day 6: We put on trim ad collared it.
Day 7: we made the video and finshied.
Using cardboard, I created a barn, because I thought it would be something were I could just let my imagination run wild.
During this process, I learned that its very important to measure things and not just eye ball it. Another thing I thought would be cool about this was it not something you see seventy graders make everyday.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I put my project on a website that everyone around the world can see. It also ties to Digital citizen because nothing that I made about it would hurt someone or make them feel mad eon the media.
A challenge I overcame on this project was we tried to build a balcony, but it wasn't staying up even with support. I was able to do it by taking it off and adding something else besides a balcony, witch we added a latter. One another problem I overcome was not having the right materials for some parts of the barn but we managed to find different things for it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the roof because we didn't really measure that much so its un even. The reason why I would change it is because it would make it look more professional, so that it makes my website a little bit more professional. I would also add some more details to it, like for instance paint it.

My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Construction, and Architects.
