8p3 - Laser Cutter

Using A laser cutter I created a sign that will be able to hang on the wall.

During this process, I learned how to send a svg.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I made the decision of what I wanted to make and how it would be designed

A challenge I overcame on this project was learning to make a half hole in Tinkercad. I was able to do it by re-watching the instructions and asking a friend

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the shape of the sign to make it more unique . The reason why I would change it is because it could look a little more unique.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design, CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in construction because they I am using different tools to create different things.
