8p1-3D printing

Using a 3D printer, I created a cookie cutter because I wanted to create something that I would be able to be useful.

During this process, I learned how to group and connect shapes to create a idiom that would be useful.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I made the decision of what I wanted to make and how I wanted it to be made.

A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to connect the idioms properly . I was able to do it by rethinking my idea and checking my view of my project more frequently.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my cookie cutter not having a big enough hole. The reason why I would change it is because when I cut out cookies they will be smaller.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in baking , because people are using cookie cutters to make small models of little creation ideas using cake or cookies.
