Reflection

• During this project, I used a Circuit Playground Express and a computer. Using these things, I created different things on the circuit like Night Lite, Button Flipper, and  Clap Lights. I made these because they were the codes that stood out to my and my partner.

• I learned many things during this project. For example, I learned how to make codes on the Circuit Playground Express. I also learned how to problem solve when codes didn't work and changes needed to be made

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator. My project ties to this because I put what I did on my website and I am sharing it with the world. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was codes not working. I was able to do it by trying to fix what was wrong with what we did. This sometimes meant restarting the the whole code.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change what codes we did. The reason why I would change it is because we only did things with lights. I would make things that had to do with sounds or music if I could do this again. 

•  Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in mobile app developing.
