Using cardboard, I created hungry hungry hippos because me and my team thought it would be cool. During this process, I learned that it's really hard to create a project without communication, and we have to talk about what we're doing. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because we had to think creatively to make our project. A challenge I overcame on this project was making the hippos. I was able to do it by making them a couple different times in different ways to make it right. Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way we made our box. The reason why I would change it is because it would be easier to count the tin foil balls.  Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in production helper.
