Using a 3D printer, I created a mini sword because I thought it would be cool. I Thought it would be cool because it is so small that it could be used as a tooth pick. Every time I get a piece of food stuck in my teeth I always wish I had a mini sword to get it out.
During this process, I learned more about Tinkercad and 3d printing.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to digital citizen and empowered learner because while doing this project I took a lot of time focusing on what I want to do for my project. I had to turn down many other fun opportunities to finish this.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to work the 3D printer. I was able to do it by asking Odin for help and he showed me how to work it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size it. The reason why I would change it is because I would like it to be smaller. I would like it to be smaller so i could actually use it as a tooth pic.
