Day1. I'm just messing around with the robots coding.
Day2. Started to build the Legos onto the robot.
Day3. I figured out how to fling the tire.
Day4. I recorded to robot flinging the tire.
Day5. I had to rerecord because it wouldn't upload
Day6. I worked on my website
Day7. I tried the iRobot
Day8. I tried the Bolt and tried to code it.
Day9. I finished bolt
Day10. I finished Sphero Mini
Day11. I worked on bolt.
Day12. I worked on bolt again
Day13. I figured out the code for the party bomb
Day14. I recorded the party bomb.
Day15. Worked on reflection
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
By myself
What materials will you need for your project?
robot and Legos
What is your plan to create in this project?
one step at a time
What unique qualities will your project have?
it will fling a tire
Square
2.rectangle
3.triangle
4.circle
5.hexagon
6.throw a tire
7. write a 3 - 4 letter word
8. party bomb
9.octagon
10.bread
Bolt: Code a party bomb, Movement, a count down, then color changing celebration.
Dash: Build off of it with Legos then code it to throw the tire, it must start on the blue line and throw it before it crosses the next blue line
Sphero Mini: How many different regular shapes can you code it to drive
iRobot: Program it to draw a 3 or 4 letter word.
This is the code for my party bomb and the party bomb.
This is the video of the Sphero Mini making shapes.
This is Dash, the robot that throws a tire, and is made with a little bit of Legos.
This is the robot that draws and writes when you code it.
Its hard to see but it wrote (HEY).
This is the code for the iRobot.
Using technology, I created a tire flinging robot because I had to. Using technology, I created a party bomb because it was on of my projects. Using technology, I created shapes because. Using technology, I created a 3 lettered word because its part of my project.
During this process, I learned not to mess around for a couple days. I also learned get to work.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I use my skill to overcome problems. My project ties to global collaborator because I have a website for everyone to see.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the coding. I was able to do it by asking a friend for help. Another challenge I overcame was time management I realized certain robots took more time than others. Being able to focus would have helped.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I worked. The reason why I would change it is because I got behind. Given a chance to do this again, I would change the order I do the robots. The reason why I would change it is because I was messing around with dash for to long.
