• Using Dash and cardboard, I created a code to do a maze. I did this because I thought it would be pretty fun. It was also kinda hard to do.
• During this process, I learned how to code a dash. I also learned how to make a good maze. During the process i found this was pretty hard.
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer. I say this because I had to design a maze for the dash to go through.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was coding a dash. I was able to do it by getting help from videos and friends. I found coding a dash is different than coding a sphero.
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of the maze. The reason why I would change it is because its small and not that impressive. I would also like to how accurate I made the Dash move.
• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Self driving cars.
