Make sure you have your video of a project

• Using a micro bit, USB cable, and a computer, I created dice because I wanted to make something that you could use.

• During this process, I learned from watching a video how to make and put together pats of what I needed.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructer, and Empowered Learner because I actively using digital tools to research how to make certain things like digital dice and a timer.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding the parts that the video showed me to use. I was able to do it by going back and looking at it again and figuring where to get it from.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the videos that I watched. The reason why I would change it is because I think i could have found more and better videos for different things sand more complex and fun stuff to make.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in Computer Programming because I learned the process of designing micro bits.
