Reflection:
For Project 7, me and Olivia created a song that tributes to having a snow day, using the green screen and a ukulele. We created this parody because jingle bells is a well known song, and everybody knows the lyrics to the original song. But we did write the song to our liking and made a lot of sense. During this process, I learned that playing the ukulele is quite difficult, and green screen is a fun tool to use if you know what you're doing. One of the 7 standards that I think that our project is tied to is Creative Communicator. I think this because we used technology to make the video of us singing and using music to enhance the quality of the video. A challenge that I overcame was how loud the ukulele was and how loud I had to sing. I overcame this challenge by testing the sound of the ukulele with and without the microphone. We found out that the ukulele is a little more quiet without the microphone and was able to create a good tune. Given a chance to do this again, I would change the volume and tone of my voice. The reasons why I would change this is because my singing wasn't the best and was a little quiet. I don't sing very often, so I stepped out of my comfort zone. I also wasn't very confident, and was a little nervous, so that explains the problem. This project can connect with future careers like being a youtuber, or being a director of a video. I would think this because we had the proper tools to make this project work out in our favor.
