Description of creation
For my project, I used a Makey Makey, playdoh and a computer. We did four things with the Makey Makey, Pacman, flappy bird, drum set, and snake game. For this project we did t teams of two, my team was with Mallory.
Description of what I learned
What I learned was how to use a Makey Makey. We learned how to use a Makey Makey by using alligator clips and playdoh. We also learned that both ends of the alligator clips had to be touching something for it to work.
Description of the standards the project tied to
The class standards our project used is innovative designer and global collaborator. We chose innovative designer because we decided what we wanted to make and how to make it. We also chose global collaborator because we put a page on our websites.
Description of a challenge we overcame
A challenge we overcame is we couldn't get the flappy bird game. What we had to do is was use the alligator clips and go up and down. Another challenge we overcame was with the Pacman.
Description of something we would do differently.
Something we would do differently is we would do more projects with the Makey Makey. Another thing we would do differently is you could hear the drums on the drum set. The last thing we would do differently is to do better with the snake game.
Description of the project to a CTE and career connection
A CTE connection would be engineering design. I chose engineering design because we engineered/made things out of play-doh to make things work better. A career connection would be Makey Makey designing. I chose Makey Makey designing because we are using Makey Makeys.
