Description of creations
My creations are of all the challenges that we are doing in class are the bolt challenge, Dash challenge, Sphero Mini challenge, and the iRobot challenge. The dash challenge is to build a catapult out of legos and throw a tire off of it. The Sphero Mini challenge was to make a lot of shapes we could do 4. The iRobot challenge was to make my name since we didn't have a lot of space we did my initials. The bolt challenge is to code a party bomb, movement, a count down, then a color-changing celebration. The challenges I did were all of them.
Description of what I learned
What I learned was how to control robots and code them. How I learned to control them was I used an app on the iPad and I also had some help. How I learned to code them was I had help from someone showing me how to code them.
Description of the standards my project ties to
The standards my project ties to are Empowered Learner and Knowledge Constructor. I chose Empowered Learner because it means to learn new things. I also chose Knowledge Constructor because it means knowing knowledge and learning more.
Description of a challenge I overcame
A challenge I overcame was writing my initials with the iRobot. It was challenging because I had to make an S and that was hard. Another challenge was making the tire go far.
Description of something I would do differently
What I would do differently was with the iRobot. What I would do differently with the iRobot was making my real name instead of my initials. Another thing I would do differently was to make more shapes with the Sphero Mini.
Description of my project to CTE and Career connection
A CTE connection to my project is Computer Programing. I chose Computer Programing because your programing a robot and a robot is sort of like a computer. A career connection is Design Engineer. I chose Design Engineer because it has robots tied into it.
