A Desingh and create a Katana with a holdster  

What unique qualities will your project have

It will be unique because my group and I designed and made it.

FINISHED PROJECT:

• Using Cardboard  I created two katanas and a holsters because I thought it would be a cool thing to make with my group and we all agreed on it.

• During this process, I learned How to design and create something effectively.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designers because I designed our project and then we created it and along the way innovated it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was making a stand for the katana because we disagreed. I was able to do it by convincing them to all make a new design.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change The stand for the katanas. I would change it because I still don't like the design because it looks ugly.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to career in a Drywaller because I made precise measurements and I used tools to cut the cardboard.
