7P6 VR

    Reflection:

Using CoSpaces, I created a sinking pirate ship because it has a lot of action. I also created it because I needed to find something that I could make quickly. Also because I think people will like the island because it has a rainbow.

During this process, I learned how to use the VR headsets. First we had to clean the iPod and the headset so we didn't get sick. Then we could put the iPod by the eye piece so we can see what we created.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because in the process I learned how to use the VR headsets. Also because I learned how to make the environment different in CoSpaces.

A challenge I overcame on this project was making it the right way. I was able to do it by making a different scene because the one I did first was not the right thing we were supposed to do. so I redid the scene and made a burning pirate ship and an island that the pirates are trying to go to.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the scene I did. The reason why I would change it is because I wanted to quickly get a scene done. I feel like if I had more time I could have created something more cool.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in Virtual Reality Game Operator and Remote Pilot Operator.
