Day 9
Today I finished my reflections and rearranged some of my pictures and videos.
Reflections:
Using Micro-Bits, I created different projects because I wanted to learn how to program things. I wanted to also learn how to program things. I was able to create ten different projects.
During this process, I learned how to use the step by step instructions to make different projects on the micro-bit. Another thing I learned was how to push the buttons on the micro-bit to make it do stuff. I also learned how t o connect the micro-bit to the computer by plugging in a cord and then plugging the cord to the micro-bit.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I chose what projects I did. I searched on the website of the Micro-Bits and found the projects I wanted to do the I went into the coding and connected the code to my micro-bit.
A challenge I overcame on this project was how to do my daily log. I was able to do it by choosing a different arrangement for my pictures and videos. I also added descriptions underneath the pictures of videos.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change that I would try to make my own code instead of doing what they did in the video. The reason why I would change it is because I kind of feel like I just did something someone else did instead of creating something new. Also because I think I could have challenged myself more.
