7P5 3D Design

DAY 2 Snipps

• Using a computer, 3D printer, and filament, I created a mini note book with 7P5 written on it. I created the note book to " Make" notes in, because it was the assignment and and I wanted to do the note book. I thought is was a good idea to write 7P5 on it. I think my thing is cool. During this process, I learned how to change the size of the grid and to use what  I have to make something cool. I used what the site gave me and I created a note book keychain. I enjoyed watching the process of  the 3D printer and making it on tinker cad. I learned how the 3D printer really works. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to EMPOWERED LEARNER because  I had to think of what I was gonna make and I had to make it. I had to make ideas and pick one and create with what I had. I used the brain the dear Lord had blessed me with and I used it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was  getting every thing to be in one shape and it being the same color. I was able to do it by trying again if I failed and something did not work. I also had to create my stuff in white filament even though that is not ideal.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made. I would make a bigger more advanced project.  The reason why I would change it is because if I did the  same project than it wouldn't be as exiting. I would like to change it up and do something maybe more advanced.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design.  CTE program at Hastings High School.  It is that connection because we had to design and we had to use are brains to engineer something. We had to plan what we were gonna make and make\design it. 

• My project connects to careers in mechanical design engineering  because we designed and we were engineers. If you were to do that job then you would be and engineer designer. So that is how this project connect to this job.
