My reflection
Using Ada fruit and the Circuit Playground Express, I created a light and sound show and a simulation of a police chase. I designed the project to simulate a scenario where a cop is chasing someone.
During this process, I learned how to program the Circuit Playground Express to play different sounds and use lights in a way that made it look like someone was being chased. By testing the sound effects, and lights, I made a realistic cop chase.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used Ada fruit and circuit playground express to create a simulation of a real world problem of cops having to chase down people.
One of the challenges I faced during this project was not knowing how all the codes would work together. But I was able to do it by testing different codes and seeing how they interacted. By doing this I learned how to put the codes so they would work properly.
Given a chance to do it again I would change the speed the beat plays. The reason for this change is that the beat sounded too fast in project which made it sound off beat. Slowing it down would make it sound a lot better.
