Using a micro bit I created multiple things including an 8ball, rock paper sicors, math problems, etc. because I wanted to learn how to code/ use a micro bit.
During this process, I learned how to code things to go in order to make fun questions/ games.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because I generated ideas and I tested them.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to make a piece work how I wanted it to I was able to do it by looking up helpful videos on YouTube and following the step on the video .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how I designed my micro bits. The reason why I would change it is because I would do it wrong and have to use up a lot of time to fix it.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in programing because I created micro bit projects that tell the micro bit what to do and when.
