reflection

• Using Circuit Playground Express, I created A wheel that spins as like a timer and we built a dice as a fun game because we wanted to make something cool that played music and a fun game to play.

• During this process, I learned how to get the lights to spin to the beats in the song. We also learned how to get the dice type noise when we shook the Circuit board. Last we learned how to make the dice spin longer.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I started out by going to YouTube and watched a video about how to make the lights spin on the board. We also went to Mr. renners website to look at models and instructions on how to make the dice.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the light just right of brightness. Also how fast we wanted it to spin. Last we didn't want in to repeat. I was able to do it by Taking my time and taking one piece at a time seeing what it would do. Until I found the speed adjuster, light adjuster, and volume adjuster.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the color of the spinner. I would change the pattern. The reason why I would change it is because the brightness is to bright and the color is to purple, I would change the pattern because it went back to the same number top many times.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming, CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in software developer  because it is programming software updates just like I programmed a light spinner wheel/song thing.
