Using cardboard I created a foosball table because we thought it would be cool because it is a cool game and none of the other 1st hour class used the idea
During this process, I learned that we should color the floor of the game before putting the sticks in next time and that you make sure to use enough glue on the sticks so you don't loose them or so they don't fall off
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because we put it on a website for everybody to see our project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was putting the sticks together we were going to use glue but used tape instead I was able to do it by changing glue into tape instead
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the floor The reason why I would change it is because we put the sticks in first so it was hard to color it
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in game technician because we built a table/arcade game like the game technicians do.
