1made our name on the chip
2 ten good ideas
1 made more ideas and got speackers.
2 couldnt figure out how to work the speackers.
1 figured out my speaker.
changed to a bigger speaker
1 changed songs and adgusted the tone in music
2 had to share speakers and went back to the small speacker again
1 got an even bigger speacker.
I started a new project called the song.
2 it is based of finger 11 called paralyzer
finished the song and started my flappy bird game
did reflection and put videos in my website.
finished reflection today and used chat.
During my project using Microsoft MakeCode for the micro
, I created fun activities like my name display, a Flappy Bird game, and a song by Finger Eleven. This experience taught me how to effectively use the micro: bit carefully.
and introduced me to various coding techniques. I enjoyed experimenting with the features and discovered how to turn my ideas into reality through coding. Overall, it was a fun way to learn and be creative! This project aligns with the Computational Thinker standard because I had to use specific coding techniques to achieve my goals. I learned to analyze problems, break them down into smaller parts, and apply logical reasoning to create functional programs. Each line of code was a step toward making my projects work, teaching me the importance of precision in programming. Overall, this process strengthened my critical thinking skills and enhanced my understanding of how coding works. One of the main challenges I faced during the project was getting the sound levels just right for my songs. I had to experiment with different pitches to ensure the melodies were clear and enjoyable. To overcome this, I utilized online resources and collaborated with classmates for guidance, which helped me find the right balance. This experience taught me the value of persistence and seeking help when needed, ultimately leading to a better final product If I had the chance to redo this project, I would choose a different song with lower notes. I realized that some of the higher pitches didn’t sound as good as I had hoped, and I’d like to create something more balanced. Choosing a song that fits better with the micro bit.
's sound capabilities would enhance the overall experience. This reflection has motivated me to pay closer attention to musical arrangements in future projects. This project connects to the Hastings High School Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program, particularly in Computer Programming. Through my work with the micro bit.
, I gained insights into how coding principles apply in real-world scenarios. I realized that the skills I developed align closely with Java programming, as we used JavaScript to write our code. This connection has inspired me to explore the computer programming pathway further and consider how I can apply my coding knowledge in future careers. This project highlights my growth as an Innovative Designer, as I had to think creatively to bring my ideas to life. I explored different ways to express my concepts through code and sound, experimenting with various designs and functionalities. Each project allowed me to merge creativity with technical skills, pushing me to innovate and find unique solutions. This experience has inspired me to continue thinking outside the box in future projects.
