Using the 3d printer and tinkercad, I created a house because I wanted to make something with my name on it.
During this process, I learned that 3d printing something with words on the side doesn't work all the time.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I thought of a design and then I made it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was lining up the roof to the base. I was able to do it by zooming in and making sure it was even.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I put Snook on the side of the house. The reason why I would change it is because it didn't print it at all.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in inventing and car designing.
