1. Empowered Learner
I get to pick. I get to use computers and messing up is okay. We get to use today's tech to figure out the next generation of tech. Students also use visual learning to be able to do the projects they're assigned. Students will build their own networks to make their own learning enviornment.
2. Digital Citizen
As a digital citizen you have rights, responsibility, and the right to learn. Digital citizens understand what their behavior online does to others. Digital citizens follow the laws and their actions have consequences. Being a digital citizen also means you don't take on other people's work. People protect their work with something called copyright. You can be sued if you take somebody's work that is copyrighted
3. Knowledge Constructor
Students will use effective strategies to find their resources to help support their needs for learning and pursue creativity. Students use digital tools to learn and make learning better for other students and themselves in the process. Students plan effective research strategies for information sites. They build knowledge by exploring real world problems getting ideas and theories.
4. Innovative Designer
Students use several devices within a process to solve problems and create useful imaginative solutions. They have specific design processes for ideas, testing their theories and creating innovative artifacts. The process is Developing, testing, and refining the prototypes. They have the tolerance for Ambiguity, Perseverance, and the Capacity to work on open ended problems.
5. Computational Thinker
The students think of strategies for understanding the problems in a way that up the power of technological methods for developing solutions. Problem definitions suited for technology-helped methods for data analysis and models as well as algorithmic thinking in exploring and finding solutions. Break the problems into component parts and extract the key information, and develop the descriptive models.
6. Creative Communicator
A Creative Communicator talks to each other and gets their point across. They also explain themselves with purpose using social media, tools, styles, and formats to approach the goal they've set. Students use tools to connect with other students who are learning and help solve their problems and the other learners solve the first students problems and get a second pov. They explore issues from where they learn and from around the world and use other devices to work with other people to investigate the solutions.
