Planning Questions

Are you working by yourself or in a team? By myself

What materials will you need for your project? Merge Cube, Computer, IPad, And Delightex Software.

What is your plan to create in this project? A 6 part augmented reality story

What unique qualities will your project have? It will have people playing softball.

1. Getting Ready for the Game

Jillian and her softball team arrived at the field early. They stretched, practiced throwing and catching, and listened to their coach explain the game plan. Everyone was excited to play and hoped they would have a great game.

2. The Game Begins

After the umpire called, "Play ball!" the game started. Both teams played hard and showed good sportsmanship. The crowd cheered as players made strong hits and impressive catches.

3. Facing a Challenge

By the middle of the game, the other team was winning. Jillian's team felt disappointed because they were behind on the scoreboard. They knew they needed to stay focused and work together to catch up.

4. Working Together

The coach reminded everyone to stay positive and never give up. Jillian encouraged her teammates, and they began communicating better on the field. Soon, they started making good plays and scoring runs.

5. The Big Play

In the final inning, the score was very close. Jillian stepped up to bat and hit the ball deep into the outfield. Her teammates raced around the bases and scored, putting their team in the lead.

6. The Ending

When the last out was made, the game was over. Jillian and her teammates cheered and celebrated their victory. They learned that teamwork, determination, and believing in one another can help overcome any challenge.

Daily log

Day 1

We worked on our usual list of ten and worked on a story for our Augmented reality.

Day 2

Today i didnt do much because i was still figuring everything out but got started.

Day 3

We had a sub so it was pretty quick today so I got scene 2 and 3 done moving onto scene 4. Otherwise everything was fone and went well.

Day 4

I made scene 5 and 6 and it was mostly easy Not a lot to do more basic things.

Day 5

I realized i messeed up and had to copy and paste my scenes into one

Day 6

I moved evrything into one scene and finished off final touches. and finished my reflection

Using The merge cube and Delightex , I created a digital softball game because Softball is my favorite sport and our project helps show others what we can create. And I thought softball would be a pretty good representation for what I am able to make. But I also think I could've done more for the shwoing what was happening.
During this process, I learned I should actually look for help instead of thinking I know what I am doing when I CLEARLY don't. Becuase I felt reallt bad telling Kennedy and Delaney the wrong thing when I thought I knew what I was doing. But then Delaney had Mr Renner tell her she was doing it wrong and then I felt bad about it.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because When we first started using Delightex I had ZERO idea what I was doing and looked up tutorials. And that makes me a knowledge Constructor because if you look up stuff for Knowledge you are a Knowledge Constructor.
A challenge I overcame on this project was realizing I was making multiple scenes and not everything on just one. And then I was telling people how to do it and then Mr Renner told Delaney what i was doing was wrong and then I felt guilty for that. But I was able to overcome it by figuring out how to group things and copy and paste scenes into other scenes.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my story. The reason why I would change it is because it didn't feel as engaging as I wanted it to be. And it really just felt not all put together because the Little people I used werent really that exciting or good so i would redo this if I could.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. I think it is Computer Programming because I programmed all my little charactrers to have animations and such.
My project connects to careers in Technical Program Manager, Software Engineering, Augmented Reality. Since this entire project is all about augmented reality and google offers jobs with Augmented Reality and I personally think that would be an amazing job. Or maybe even a Softball coach would be a good job for this considering my story.
