Reflection

• Using Wires and a computer, I created a pong game controller because I wanted to play a game,using something I created.

• During this process, I learned how to create a video game using wires and a makey makey.Also because I wanted to take what I learned,and build something.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because I listened to Alijah's idea and built what me and him decided on..Also because the idea that we came up with was creative.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was putting the wires into the right spot. I was able to do it by asking someone what I do, then I did it myself.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how I made the buttons.Instead of using just the wires and alligator clips,I should've just put the alligator clips inside of a play doh button. The reason why I would change it is because it would look better and more complete.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in computer programming because In computer programming you have to wire and program a computer to do what you want it to do.I wired and programmed a makey makey to be a pong controller,Meaning I programmed it to do what I wanted it to do.
