Daily Log:
Day 1: Today I wrote my list of 25 and put my planning questions daily log and reflections.
Day 2: Today I decided to make a Popsicle mold with the Popsicle stick, but I think I might change the idea to something else.
Day 3: Today I got rid of the Popsicle idea and now I am making a Coaster.
Day 4: Today I changed my costar to a Halloween themed costar and added a skull.
Day 5: Today I made a video of my 3D print and then I posted it.
Day 6: Today I made a montage of my pictures and then uploaded it. I also sent my 3D print to Mr. Renner so he can print it.
Reflections:
Using Tinkercad , I created a skeleton costar because at my dads house we have marks on our table because our cups condensate and make water droplets that make water marks or like water rings on my wood table.
During this process, I learned that making 3D prints is hard depending on what you are making. I wanted to make many different things but they where either to big or to hard for me to make within the days given.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I set a personal goal to use my 3D project as a problem solver for my table because my table makes water marks with my cups .
A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to think of something cool to do or something that 3D could help around my house. I was able to do it by thinking of something that could happen everyday by something that would have a long term effect on me and everyone that lives in my house.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of the project I made and the color. The reason why I would change it is because we had to make it 3cm by 3cm and that's not very big for a costar and we also didn't get to pick our color and we only got to use one color.
