Using cardboard, hot glue, and tape I created armor because I thought it would be fun to make a group project.
During this process, I learned the best way to put cardboard together.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to empowered learner, because I set goals and steps to achieve them.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making the back stick out less. I was able to do it by taping the sides together.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how bulky the armor is. The reason why I would change it is because it makes it look less like armor and more like a box.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in creative thinking.
