Reflections

• Using my iPad and iMovie, I created a video about me and some things I like because I want people to know a bit more about me.

• During this process, I learned how to make a video better with sound effects and voiceovers.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to Empowered Learner because I made decisions on what I wanted to make and made it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was deciding what to make my video about. I was able to do it by thinking of things about me that I wanted others to know about.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change I would make the voiceovers better. The reason why I would change it is because the voiceovers don't sound very good.

• Out of Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in computer programming because it helped me work on my technology learning and my ability to make educational videos.
