Reflection questions:

• Using Tinker Cad, I created a 3D-printed phone holder that can also charge an Apple watch. I wanted to use the new standby mode on my iPhone.

• During this process, I learned how to use TinkerCAD and do 3d modeling.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to innovative designers because we had to think of a problem we had and then design something to fix it.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was that I could not find dimensions for chargers. I did a lot of research and measured some things on my own.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the size of my design. The reason why I would change it is because I feel the charger is going to be a very tight squeeze.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering and design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in 3D Printing Technicians because we designed a 3d model and then printed it.
