I am working in a 3-person team

• What materials will you need for your project?

    cardboard and some duck tape and tin foil

• What is your plan to create in this project?

A large sword and a base for it

• What unique qualities will your project have?

    The blade will be tin foil

• Using cardboard tin foil and duck tape, I created a large sword and a base because I thought it would be cool and fun to make. I found inspiration in this by looking at others from the past I never found an exact result so I thought it would be unique to build

• During this process, I learned that tin foil and duck tape together can be very sharp and stiff. Also, I was amazed at how hard cardboard can be to work with it bends super stiffly overall I learned a lot from this project.

• The class's seven standards are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project is tied to innovative Designer because we had to think of an idea to build and we were designing a cool project to build 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was we didn't know how to make the outside of the box look good. I could do it by covering the entire box outside on white cardboard And making all of the seams look professional.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change The shape of the base I would make it much more fancy looking and have a more open-air design. The reason why I would change it is that The box design is just boring and it could look much better.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the construction trades CTE program at Hastings High School. Because we built a project it required us to think like a builder
