Using my iPad, a chair, and Imovie, I created a stop-motion film of a chrome book being disassembled with scary music in the back. because i thought it would be a good project that would take a long time but a good overall project in the end. and I like reverse engineering things in general so it was not only fun to do, but to watch as well. 

During this process, I learned how to make a stop-motion video and also how to actually disassemble a Chromebook and not destroy it. another thing I learned how to do was set up a camera with little resources. for ours, we used a chair, the other Ipad, and a merge cube for stability. so overall I think it was a good learning experience 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to  Knowledge Constructor because in the beginning I had no idea how to do sop motion and now in the end I have a slight grasp on the subject. Also in the beginning I did watch stop-motion tutorials to actually do it. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting 700 pictures in the time we had. I was able to do it by using our time wisely. Some other things I did was try to get at least 200 pictures a day if not more which helped mentally. ( in the end, we got 970ish)

Given a chance to do this again, I would change more pictures and more stories of the object itself. The reason why I would change it is that I like the thing itself but I think there is, not much story so I want to change that. But that's very minor to the project because I do think we have a lot of good things to 

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in digital Media Producers, graphic designers, and digital media specialist.
