today I tried to make some changes like the safety lip and came up with this.

added small things like the circles but in the end, I think this will be the best thing for the project beacuse it will help out with the sibility of the phone stand and overall make it not fall over
Using Tinkercad and a computer, I created a phone holder that can hold your phone vertically and on the side because. This will help me out in real life and let me rest my phone on something else than my hands. to be honest, this will be a "Quality of Life" basically saying it will allow me to have my hands free while I do things like homework and other things like sleep/ take a nap.
During this process, I learned how to use Tinkercad and make a 3D print of a phone stand that I can use in my life for many tasks. Such as helping me put my phone off to the side while doing the dishes or just sitting down. overall I learned how to use a site to make something useful that I will definitely use in my life.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties Computational Thinker because I can use technology to solve a problem, I say this because I could use my 3D print to hold a mouse or a phone.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the stability of the project and making sure it did not fall when an object that is the same waite as a phone was placed on it. I was able to do it by adding support structures and I think beams on the back of the 3D print. And some other features on the bottom and the little safety lip on the end area.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the back posts and make them bigger. The reason why I would change it is that it would help out with stability. Also, I would change the back posts to a different shape or something more sturdy but I would have to think about which shape that would be.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in 3D printing. Jobs include 3D Design, 3D CAD modeling, resesurch and development, and Biological and scientific modeling.
