Using TinkcerCad and a 3D printer, I created a dixie cup holder because our bathroom  counter is always a mess because of them being everywhere. This holder will allow us to still have the cups out but in a more neat way.

During this process, I learned how to duplicate the shapes so I don't have to keep looking for the same one and then fitting ir to the size I want it. This goal was to make a safe holding place for the dixie cups. I used cones, circles, and smaller cones.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I had very little experience with TinkerCad. Through lots of learning, I made a basic but not so simple project. There are different shapes put together to make this equipment.

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the measurements right. I was able to do it by using the text boxes instead of moving my mouse. When moving the mouse, you can't get the specific details. Because of this, it's more blocky and less detailed Given a chance to do this again, I would change where my shapes were located. The reason why I would change it is because I was struggling to center the shapes. Because of this, the whole figure didn't look as professional. I would like it to be more crisp and detailed.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. This is because I engineered a design to fix an important issue. My project connects to careers in LevelEx. You will be 3D printing assets, anatomical designs, and surgical tools. You will be making multiple models for different needs in businesses.
