Reflection
Using a Sphero Mini, I coded the Sphero Mini to code a pentagon because I liked using the Sphero Mini and i decided to use it for something more fun.
During this process, I learned how to code different robots.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because you need to program codes in order for it to work
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning what the angles for the codes would affect it. I was able to do it by trying out different angles and seeing how they would work
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how many codes i had to try out. The reason why I would change it is because i had to use many different codes for just one robot to figure out what would work, I just threw some commands down and hoped for the best but later on I actually thought about the codes and it worked.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in computer system analyst.
