Micro:Bit

Using the microbit , I created a changing pattern because i thought it would be cool to have a sorta slideshow thing with different patterns that led to the next one.

During this process, I learned how to code using the microbit and that there are many things you can do with coding.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because remixed digital purposes into a new creation by using a variety of tools to create a cool visualizations.

A challenge I overcame on this project was having to fix my coding over and over again to get what I was looking for. I was able to do it by fixing it and trying different things for my project.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that I didn't use buttons for my project. The reason why I would change it is because I think using the buttons would have made it cooler.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in computer programming because we programmed into the microbit and learned how to code with the microbit.
